| My family purchased one of these for me as a father's day gift. We play in our basement. It is not bad except it has developed cracks over time that seem to be getting worse. I dont know if it is due to temperature changes or maybe just inferior glue or materials in its construction. |
It was a gift

| This was a gift to my son-in-law, a total surprise. Except when this table was shipped, there were parts missing that was needed to complete assembly of this table. My son-in-law had to call the manufacturer and wait 7 to 10 working days to receive the parts not included or omitted for some reason. One of the plastic parts has already cracked although the table is still usable. |
Not what I was hoping for

This comes UNASSEMBLED. The instructions are thorough, but hard to read. It took us a couple days because we got so fed up. (And I'm the sort of person who enjoys putting together IKEA furniture.) Actual quality? Getting the legs into plastic cross piece was almost impossible--my husband had to sand down the inside of the plastic tubes to get them to fit. A couple pilot holes were out of position.
Shipping costs extra, but the driver is only required to leave the box at the front door or in the garage. Good luck moving the box on your own.
Yes, it folds up, with nice latches to keep the sides from falling down, but the table is 3 FEET WIDE when folded. The legs do not fold flat, they actually stick out. Not exactly compact. (To be fair, most modern tables look like they are this wide.) I received this as a present, so I did not read any reviews or product information before receiving the item. Of my three major complaints, the size is the only one mentioned on Amazon's product page.
Bottom line: I'm sure that it will be fine for actually knocking ping pong balls around, but the two halves ended up slightly offset when the table was finally assembled and it is massively bulky to store. |
