Ping Pong lover from china

This table has pretty good bounce. I have been playing ping-pong for many years. This table is one of the best.
The assembly time is not that bad. Maybe 3 hours if you're fast. You only need a second hand when it's nearly done (almost the last step). But put the parts to where you want it to be first.
Got it shipped in a week, pretty fast. My 7-year-old likes it. We played a lot in the basement already.

The bad thing is:
1) the net is 3 to 4 inches short. But I used a paper clip and a string to tie it up to the other end (the poles will accommodate you for strings).
2) one screw is missing, not very important, i just picked one from my toolbox.

All in all, very happy. Good price, good quality.

The Ping Pong Table is AWESOME!! It does take some time to put together. The only negative, the shipping company lost the first shipment somewhere in transit after scheduling their delivery. The replacement was made by Amazon painlessly. The 2nd time is a charm!
Great ping pong table!

This is a great table for the $$$!! Had heard many reviews of how hard these things are to put together, and it is true that it takes a while, but if you CAREFULLY follow the directions, all comes together perfectly. I pretty much put the thing together by myself - just had to get my husband to help with the heavy stuff. All of the parts were well marked and fit together the way they should. The table seems real sturdy. Three hours after delivery, we were playing ping pong on our new table!
Great indoor table for intermediate to advance players

Just got this table two days ago and finally assembled it today. This is a great table. 3/4th inch top really gives a great bounce (which may take a few days to get adjusted to, if you have been playing on sub-par to decent tables). Surface is great, the blue color is nice, and really like the way it folds up and easy to maneuver. Very nicely made, looks and feels strong, something which will last a long time and doesn't look cheap (NOT MADE IN CHINA).

Assembly takes about 90-100 minutes, but you need two people. Instructions aren't the best, it's annoying to measure the screws to figure out which screws go where and you need proper tools.

The net seems iffy, I'm guessing it was just my order. It came a little ripped and I'll be contacting amazon to figure out what to do about it.

If you are looking for a nice professional table, this is it.

Update: The shipping cost on this item dropped from $70 to Free after 3 weeks from the date of purchase. I contacted amazon about this, and they wouldn't refund me and offered me $5. I always felt Amazon was the best place to shop online. Also found out that there is no price protection if you buy any product from Amazon. Really disappointed.
Excellent TT Table

It has been a while since I purchased this table, so I've had a number of months to ponder over how I feel about the product. With that being said, the table itself plays like a champ. The construction quality is great and it folds up nicely allowing me to store it in my office and roll it out to play when we have guests over. The bounce on the table is excellent and the net / net tension are also excellent. I also appreciate the paddle / ball holders along both sides of the table - convenient design.

The only drawback I can think of is the initial setup time to build the table. I think it took me roughly 3.5 hours to put together. I highly recommend having a 2nd person handy, as I almost ran into trouble trying to put it all together on my own (each half of the table top weighs around 90 lbs. I think), so build with caution.

Happy Hunting!
SEE! It's Called Table Tennis NOT Ping Pong!

Oh My Concern at the 2 Guys that delivered this thing to my door. When they opened the back of the Van I saw a dent in the side of the packing...
Have No Fear, this thing is well packed and protected. It's Heavy though! Real Heavy, so make sure the Wife is around to help you shift it!
I agree with other reviewers. This thing takes a couple of hours to put together. Do it slowly and methodically as many of the nuts and bolts look VERY similar. I suggest sorting them and laying them out. There is a useful little measure on the instruction sheet which helps with the bolt sizes.
Anyway, once it's put together, it's a solid beauty. I've had it for a couple of months now and haven't had a decent game. Not because of the table but for the fact that, in my house is everyone's Crap at playing Table Tennis.
So if you're in the area with your bat............!

PS I would post a photo but heh, a Table Tennis Table is what it is. You know what it looks like.

OH! I almost forgot PS(2)....It comes WITH a net, which I didn't realise, and had ordered a net to go with it. The Net that comes with it is as sturdy as the table.....AND NO I'm not taking a picture of the Net either.
Very satisfied with quality

We ordered the table from Amazon on a Saturday and got it within 4 days even though the estimated date of arrival was like 12 days or something. It was boxed up pretty well. Arrived without a scratch even though the box had a 6 inch tear on the side. The playing surface of the table is protected because the 2 playing surfaces are facing each other towards the middle and protected by plastic film to prevent scratches. If it really gets banged up, the bottom surface of the table will be the one that will get scratched because its facing out. Made in Germany. It is easy to unpack. The hard part for me is sorting the different lengths of bolts. The middle part of the table where the casters attach to 4 legs took the longest time to put together. Don't be alarmed if you notice that the legs on the middle part of the table have unequal lengths. This is due to the fact the on one side of the table the wheels are fixed while it pivots on the other side. Once the casters are installed, they will be perfectly even (checked using a level tool). Once that is done, its all smooth sailing from there. You will need an extra pair of hands to put hold the table halves in place while putting in the screws and bolts. I read someone comparing this to assembling IKEA furnitures. I agree with that completely. If you do not follow the instructions step by step, you could end up with extra parts, an unsafe table or having to take it apart. There should not be 1 extra part at the end of assembly. So take your time and double check the parts and sizes of the fasteners. I'm really impressed with the alignment and excellent tolerance of the parts. Everything seemed to line up great. The fit and finish of this table is really good. Since the legs are kind of thin compared to some of the more expensive tables I warned my family to avoid leaning against it during play. It folds up easily too.

The BUTTERFLY TR21 Table Tennis Table is a great gift for grandchildren - if only to get them away from TV and electronic games. Product quality is excellent and delivery was prompt - with no damage to this 180-pound product. BTW, the table comes with a net; but, no balls or paddles.

As others reported, the table requires two people who can lift about 60-pounds each to assemble. I recruited my son-in-law. Assembly takes about 3-hours because there are about 60 fastners - ranging from 32 small screws to larger components.

Instructions are clear and readily understandable. They state that the table can be assembled with a Phillips-head screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. While that is true, I strongly recommend the following tools: a box cutter for opening packaging, a power drill with a good clutch and fine speed control, 9, 10 & 11 mm sockets for the drill, a 3/8" drive socket set with 9, 10 & 11 mm sockets and a No. 1 Phillips head screw bit for the drill.

Once assembled, we enjoyed playing on the table, which has a solid 3/4-inch, well-painted surface. The table also has twin paddle & ball holders. An adult can readily fold/unfold the table and roll it away. Our family is very pleased.

Nice table, good instructions, great price!

I have this table now for a month and it is very nice. The table top is dark green and has a professional quality to it. It went together easily and took about 3 hours by myself. The table size is actually 11/16" of an inch when I measured it. Shipping was free and it arrived in 4 days!! I love it and so does my family.
